- At the Moon Council Gathering, the party worked the room at Lady Calerra’s request, quietly speaking with nobles, merchants, and guild leaders while gathering evidence surrounding the mysterious cold zones, suspicious trade contracts, and House Selanthe’s involvement.
- As the evening drew to a close, they uncovered and foiled an elaborate cult attempt to kidnap Lady Calerra before rushing through the streets of Thulanda to the Fountain of Solis.
- Beneath the city they discovered an ancient frozen cistern where Lord Malreth Vhaltris and the Iceborn Choir were using Koios, the combined Shards of Solis, and infernal frost magic to tear open a gateway to some alien looking unknown realm.
- After a desperate battle, the party slew Vhaltris, destroyed the Choir, rescued Koios, and ended the Cult of the Chained Blizzard’s immediate influence over Thulanda.
- Although Lady Calerra remains convinced House Selanthe orchestrated the conspiracy from the shadows, its leader escaped before sufficient evidence could be gathered.
- In the days that followed, the city publicly honored the party with a substantial monetary reward, while Lady Calerra emerged as the noble who restored peace and unity to Thulanda. Before departing, she privately invited Thalia to become her trusted liaison, adviser, and future spymaster in service of a reformed Rhomarion, while Socrates received an official proclamation from the Ephorate of Xyphonia appointing him Ambassador Extraordinary to Mirzaban, charging the party with attending the upcoming Sunsteel Convergence on behalf of the republic.

It is cold again. Why is it always so blasted cold? The tunnels, outside, caves, cold, cold, cold everywhere. It chills my old bones and fogs my mind. Maybe this adventure was not the last trip I should’ve embarked on. Perhaps it is time to go back to my warm tower and finish my studies. But no. My brother has decided to put me to work and send me further into the cold north in Mirzaban. Since he is the one funding my trip, I couldn’t say no. Perhaps I will buy a warmer coat.

So what now? It seems we have successfully rescued Koios, defeated the Lord Vhaltris from some Kathgar related ritual to open a portal to this world, and eased some of the political tensions in the land. We’ve even strengthened Solis’ presence with the institution of Sister Halvene into a much more prominent role of the court. Job well done I would think. Even Thalia’s new role could add an element of fun to our future endeavors, as so recently demonstrated with the pompous sculptor elf.
Yet it feels miniscule to me.
Like we have only swatted away the flies gathering as a result of a much more sinister disease. The Frostbinder is stronger than this, yet his minions seem to be testing the edges of resistance. Could they simply be holding back to present false weakness? Is he rising to new power?
Why is Solis so quiet while his Nemesis works so openly? Where is Solis?
Noctis. The Mistress of Veils. Could she be somehow hiding Solis? Would it be for ill intent, or perhaps somethin else? Could the Great Sorceress once again be standing beside the Dawn Champion?

I’m confused by Lady Calerra. I’ll gladly be her representative and do as she sees fit. She protects the indignant in Thalandia after all. Her mission is just. What’s confusing though is the way that she looks at me. It’s like she can look right through me. I hope to see her again but in the mean time, I’ll send her letters. They’ll be innocuously written, but coded, of the lands, peoples and others like Vahltris, if they are out on the road. Hopefully my companions can stop the next portal to the ice realm or whatever the horde of flying icks was doing. all I want is a cold ale, a thick easy loving barmaid and a pocketful of coin. Why is that so hard to find?

So… not the best way I have woken up, although not the worst. I woke up frozen in ice suspended in the air. Luckily my friends came and rescued me. Kragg himself shattered the chains that freed me. Once we killed the pompous stuck up elf, we took back my shard and his magical shield.
We are now heading north. During our stop, I was able to help a boy regrow his arm, glad that worked out otherwise that would have been awkward. Socrates is now an Ambasador for our nation… not sure who would have been a better me or him. O well lets see how this plays out.

Lady Colors almost died from the fall. She wake and tell us there no time. Ritual already start. I carry her to safety then we run to town square. I think I hear something coming from road, but others see cold coming from fountain. I tear up fountain and we find stairs going down…down…down.
Once we get to bottom we find ritual in place. Cultists float in air while evil man cast spells.Cooties imprisoned in ice held up by chains. I teleport using ring up to break chains to free him. We crash to ground. I teleport above half the and smash him to ground. He not die from that but he died soon.
We given 20000 gold in reward for stopping cultists. I buy better armor.
We go help Ambassador Socrates with mission during Sun Steel Convergance.
